I was doing my usual “surfing the net thing when I bumped into this question:
i have simple question to ask. after reading and viewing everything the bible i respect it’s teachings and there a saying in the bible that god is perfect and the word in his bible is absolute dat cant be change. so my question is why isnt anyone following the bible like helping the needy and helping others? but doing the opposite like example priests who is closer to god is hafing sex wid a minor. so does it means the word of the bible isnt absolute since no one following nt even the priests ?
It was actually a comment posted on a video I was viewing. All this non sense questions about the imperfection of the Christian faith is already getting through my head… here’s the answer to your question whoever you are.
Of course, GOD is perfect! You cannot blame GOD for what the human race is doing just like I cannot blame your parents for what you are doing. You have the precious gift of Human Freedom and that’s basically the reason why people get to do what they want to do. You are free to choose whatever decision you make. And priests just like any body else are humans! Which makes them the same susceptible to human failure just like you and me. And oh, by the way, have you been looking around you? because as far as I know a lot of people are already making working on helping the needy and helping others. Like, hello!!! and no, it doesn’t mean the BIBLE is not absolute just because we, imperfect people cannot match its perfection.
